Alta Vista Integrated Life Services is a small yet impactful non-profit licensed behavioral health agency and certificated PreK-12 grade institution.
Our mission is to nurture, empower, and educate individuals, youth, and families by providing excellence in behavioral health and educational support, removing financial barriers and increasing access to essential services.
Imagine facing the daily challenges of raising a child severely impacted by developmental disabilities or mental health issues. Childcare becomes a complex puzzle, as most daycare providers are not equipped to handle medical and behavioral challenges. Simple tasks, like food shopping, turn into nearly insurmountable feats with a child who becomes overstimulated in public places. Navigating the educational system can feel like climbing a lonely mountain, with bullies, learning differences, and the struggle to understand how to meet your child’s needs.
Families arriving at Alta Vista ILS often do so in crisis, exhausted, and lacking resources and support. Our programs are designed to wrap around families, offering therapeutic respite, PreK-12 grade educational support services, crisis stabilization, behavioral therapy, social skills groups, as well as individual and group counseling options for individuals and their family systems.
With your invaluable support, we can remove financial barriers for students who lack adequate insurance or other resources to cover program fees. Through your generosity, we have witnessed youth in crisis stabilize in school, empowered families to gain new life skills, provided social-emotional regulation techniques, and improved social skills, thereby reducing barriers to accessing community events and resources. We’ve offered holistic educational services to youth of all abilities and backgrounds, alongside community consultation and training in behavioral support and education.
We are inviting you to continue partnering with us to move our mission forward. Your one-time or recurring donations will significantly improve outcomes for special needs youth and their families within our community.
