Alta Vista offers
Social Emotional Learning (SEL) Respite Groups in Port Orchard
- Monday/Wednesday/Friday Teen/Adult Group: 4-7:30pm
- Tuesday/Thursday School Age: 4-7pm
- Life skills development, such as: Establishing goals for oneself, learning to understand others and how they may feel, being compassionate, understanding money and how to purchase items, and enhancing understanding of nonverbal and verbal communication.
- Future focus: We would like to focus on how to go through the application process, interview process, to obtain a job.
- Clients should bring snacks, dinner/lunch and something to drink while attending the group sessions. (No Peanuts)
- Monthly Community outings (schedule to be announced)
- Weekly YMCA Wellness Days will begin soon. Don’t hesitate to get in touch with us for more information.
The cost is 21.80/hour or per DDA. Most insurance accepted for behavioral health support overseen with a counselor available. A sliding scale fee is available upon inquiry for those not needing behavioral health support.
